Description

xxxxxSmells of paints and chalks and turpentine mingle freely in this room, well-used, well-stocked. Natural light flows in, plentiful through the large windows. The long counter-like tables are speckled with spots of color, and half finished projects often stand on easels or propped in corners. The many cupboards lining the walls are crammed full of art supplies.

Notes & Trivia
  • The counter by the sink is kept permanently stocked with teas, tea-accoutrements, and some mugs (please wash after using!); a hot water heater is there for convenient caffeinating.
  • Often used in off-hours as Jackson's office, since unlike most of the faculty he does not possess either an office or a suite.
  • Given that it is often used as his office, it is a well-known fact among the students (and teachers as well) that in addition to the wide variety of art supplies found in the cabinets, one of the drawers against the wall is also kept well stocked with condoms/dental dams/gloves/lube -- safer sex supplies are also available in the med lab, but the med lab is also staffed 24/7 and so is harder to be discreet about.
  • This has led to 'picking up some art supplies'/'doing some art' becoming a euphemism around the school. Oh, yeah, can't go back to my dorm right now, roommate is really busy with some artwork.
