Introduction xxxxxTrick is an Irishman - and a clever police detective - now living in New York (for about a year). He is also incredibly lucky (or so they say!) - he blame his lucky charm for that. He lives alone with his cat (Oberon), loves his work and has no idea he is a mutant. Mutants make him very wary... History xxxxxRaised as an only child in Dublin, Ireland and became a Police Detective just like his father. Married, had a daughter, worked in the police force for nearly a decade in Dublin. Loved his family. Loved the land. Loved music. Loved horses. xxxxxHis first big case was catching a gang of thieves - mutants, all of them. This (along with other things) changed his attitude toward mutants, for the worse (distrust, suspicion). xxxxxDivorced over a year ago (workaholic, his wife said). Wife and daughter still live in Dublin - Trick moved to New York. He now works as a detective again, distrustful as ever of mutants (with absolutely NO IDEA he is one!), and trying to 'make a difference'. Powers Luck/Probability Manipulation. xxxxxTrick (without knowing) has the ability to unconsciously and psionically initiate telekinetic acts that affect probability, thus causing events to work in his favour (or against someone else's). His power is tied to his subconscious (i.e. he cannot control it), and affected by emotions, intentions and actions. xxxxxTrick has to do something for his power to work (i.e. any action, verb, intention...), and it will affect things in a 30ft radius or so. Whatever happens must be within the realm of "possible/probable" (i.e. no "impossible" or "ridiculous" feats). xxxxxThis probability field requires energy to use (even subconsciously), and thus has to recharge (hence, why it does not always work). Recharge may take anything from seconds to minutes, depending on the significance of the event influenced. Trick's luck can run out... xxxxxExhaustion, depression, and overuse are Trick's weaknesses.
