xxxxxWade Winston Wilson was born some time in 1985. He grew up in a small Ohio town, and from his youth he was abused both verbally and physically hit by his father. As a result, he lashed out a lot at others, and got into a lot of trouble often. But when he finally turned eighteen, he decided to just leave it all behind, including much of the negativity he felt, and be a totally different person.
His mother left fairly early on, and his father was a military man. So it was ironic that he got away by joining the US Army, eventually ending up in Special Forces. He learned to do a variety of things, such as use a whole host of advanced weaponry, and even basic melee weapon and hand to hand skills, and to speak, read and write Arabic. But possibly the most valuable things he did in that time was make connections.
He'd gone on quite a few black ops missions, having displayed a natural talent for these things not too far into his military life. He didn't really figure out he was some sort of mutant until he started taking bullets and not dying. This is something that got him pushed so hard to be in these kinds of positions, despite the fact that he talked so damned much and wasn't entirely the most professional of soldiers.
But during that time he met a lot of people in the private military sector, eventually meeting people who had the strings and money to get him out of the Army and into private security. After a while he started wearing a mask. When he'd take enough bullets, while he healed quickly enough, his body and face would often look rather horrifying for a while.
He got jobs done, and eventually began to do private work for people beyond the private security sector. Arabian oil barons, dictators, corporate CEOs. it got to a point where people began to primarily refer to him as his nickname, Deadpool, mostly due to people betting on when he was finally going to die. He was mostly reached by word of mouth, with very few people actually having his personal contact information. He wasn't even bothering with the military or being in big private armies anymore. Now he was out doing things on his own.
Now, he wasn't necessarily what someone would call an assassin, though he did do a few of those. He was often hired to help with manufactured uprisings overseas, due to people wanting to replace one government official with a more favorable one. A CEO wanting a rival company's records stolen or destroyed without a trace of who did it. Or even just plain being the best hired security they could buy.
But now, Wade doesn't work too often. Sure, he disappears to have the occasional overseas job out of boredom. But these days he's mostly sitting on a pile of money that powerful strings have been pulled to just have it essentially declared Wade's "military money". Now, roughly ten years after he began all of this, he's trying to enjoy what he's earned. Not many people know of who he actually is or a lot of what he did since he dropped out of working with actual militaries, but even if there is a person who sometimes wants a favor, he doesn't always mind.
He often has no idea who's even pulling strings to make his nice lifestyle seem so legal, but he doesn't really care either. As long as he gets to sit around, watch TV, and enjoy New York, he sleeps like a baby at night. His life is what it is, and if anything shakes up his current level of peace and lack of explosions, he'll probably just roll with it anyway.
