Despite the rough persona she presents, Morgan’s ability to be "one of the guys" is what allows her to be effective in most situations. She is headstrong at times and wears her emotions (mostly anger) on her sleeve. She is crass, predatory, and impulsive.

Formerly employed by the New York Police Department, Morgan was let go after an undisclosed incident. Before that, in her nine years on the force she built up a reputation for excessive force, taking bribes, and skimming off the top.
Most recently after losing her job, she’s cut off most of her friends and broken off her long term engagement to the shock and outrage of her large, Irish Catholic family ...admittedly, most of these people are cops.

Morgan can temporarily interfere with an individual target’s oriented statis, which allows her to visibly “freeze” a designated person or object in what would be perceived as a temporal nano-second while everything and everyone else continues to move freely. She is limited by distance, the mass of the target in question, and how long she can “freeze” it.
She also has a temporal cognition, which gives her an enhanced understanding of the precise time and timing personally, locally, and objectively.
