xxxxxRoscoe looks a little younger than his fifteen years. He is five-foot-four and fervently hoping for a growth spurt. This is particularly unfortunate combined with his sinewy build, which just refuses to bulk up despite his best efforts. He has straight black hair cropped short and not very stylishly, dimples when he smiles, and prominent front teeth. He was supposed to get his braces off like a year ago; he’s still waiting.

xxxxxRoscoe has been hanging around Lassiter for over a year now, so he knows his way around, and pretty much everybody knows him. He's meek with the labcoats, less meek with the guards, but overall respectful enough that he gets away with occasional, mild teenagerness. Among other labrats, he is sociable but habitually rude. If you don't already know he's from Boston, you will soon.

xxxxxRaised with very high standards and very little supervision, Roscoe Vo spent the first eleven years of his life figuring out how to overachieve without actually doing any of the requisite work. This worked well for everyone involved until Roscoe developed a mutation. Nobody took it well. He spent seventh and eighth grade in and out of trouble, first at school, then at home, then outside of home, then spent the summer and the first few months of high school in and out of juvie before eventually being transferred to Prometheus. Labrat since October 2021, Lassiter since February 2022.

xxxxxKarate through elementary and middle school, blue belt, sort of out of practice. Minecraft survival mode. Minecraft in general, actually. Chess club – he’s no chess genius, but he does know a ton of terminology. Audiovisual tech support, services, troubleshooting, etc. learned mostly on the job at school assemblies. Various parkour nonsense, self-taught and overenthusiastic. Reading upside-down and backward, reading really fast. Limited conversational Vietnamese.

- Medical breakthroughs Roscoe has aided in: zero. Every so often someone new stumbles across his file and got really excited about the potential, whereupon they go to Lassiter, run a bunch of tests, either come up empty or get their project nerfed by someone in the CIA, and slink away in disgrace. At least one of them has done so like three times. LOL suck it.
- Military breakthroughs Roscoe has aided in: a few, but he's not totally clear how he helped or what he was helping with.
- Has stabbed three people with pens, which maybe isn't a lot, but it's a lot to have had a fairly negligible impact on his reputation. Anyway, he's no longer allowed to have pens or pencils.
- He has a pen or pencil hidden in his cell at all times anyway (though he occasionally loses them in shakedowns) and writes everything down in his handy
John Grisham book diary, where he is keeping track of his release date, his commissary fund, meal schedules, several (mostly unsuccessful) attempts to algorithmically predict shift schedules and random searches, every staff member he knows by name, which tests happen in which testing rooms, and every cellie he's ever had.
- Good at school. Skipped third grade and was another couple years ahead in math, or at least he was before everything went down. Now he's probably going to have to graduate with his age group.
