xxxxxThe second of five children, largely by different fathers, born in Montreal though transplanted to New York during one of his mother's string of failed marriages. Home life was shitty. Left it around the beginning of his teenage years when his mutation developed; he and his brother spent the majority of their teens on the streets instead, fending for themselves as best they could. He attended school despite this, and was pretty set on attending college, too. Cancer's kind of put a damper on that. His brother's, not his own.
