Introduction

Until very recently, Sergio was still a carefree, adventurous teenager and that person is still around ...somewhere.

History

Sergio was born into a large, supportive extended family. Though an only child, he grew up in an encouraging, loving environment that was heavily saturated with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. He grew into a playful and rambunctious teen with a dream to someday play professional sports.

When his mutant abilities began to manifest, he was initially treated for narcolepsy. As his symptoms continued to worsen and he began to lose stretches of days, he was placed in a round-the-clock care facility. In reality, he was living vivid out-of-body experiences, abandoning his waking life altogether. Discovering dark secrets about his friends and family made him less and less inclined to indulge them, and he found that he preferred to remain asleep. He would ride along with the surfers and sunbathers on the beach.
