xxxxxWithin the international espionage community and those in adjacent circles, the rumors of the Widows has been a long-standing kind of Spycraft Urban Legend; everyone has heard of some secret facility that trains some of the world's deadliest assassins & spies, but nobody's actually met any of these supposedly lethal women -- at least not provably, at least not anyone Still Alive. Even among the Widows there are a few who have made a sort of reputation for themselves -- White Widow and Red Widow whispered to be particularly competent but the Black Widow widely-known and widely-feared to be the deadliest of all.
xxxxxBut, those are all Just Rumors; for all the hushed whispers and rumours of a vicious effectiveness, nobody actually has ever figured out or pinned down who the Black Widow is.
xxxxxNatasha herself has no reputation to speak of whatsoever, but a loooong list of aliases and identities left behind.
xxxxxOne of these identities -- Natalie Farrell -- spent some years undercover with the Brotherhood of Mutants & Mutant Mongrels, where among those groups she was first known to be deeply reliable and great backup until, later, she was known to be a defector and traitor, albeit one who they are under current orders not to harm... as long as she doesn't further antagonize them.
